Our Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is grown in a small vineyard block just off the meandering Silverado Trail that runs northwest to southeast through Napa Valley's famed Rutherford region. Situated at the heart of Napa – just between Oakville and St. Helena – the Rutherford growing region produces some of Napa's most critically-acclaimed Cabernets ... and that is saying something. With well-drained soils made up of gravel, loam and sand with volcanic deposits and marine sediments, the vineyards of Rutherford produce complex, distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon with a characteristic mineral "Rutherford dust" quality and a rich, supple texture.
